We purchased this for a master bedroom remodel.The set is a good value for the money.The brown and off-white colors are accurate in the photo; the contrast gold color is a soft gold and not as bright as pictured.This was a plus for us as the color combo is quite elegant.The comforter fits our king size bed well and the dark color doesn't show the pet hair as much as I thought it would.Also, the comforter is a good weight for us, thick but not too thick.I really like the shams and accent pillows -- they highlight the comforter nicely and take it from boring to interesting.

I bought this as a cover for my son's new Thomas toddler bed.It looks great on the bed, and is definitely large enough.My son seems to like it fine, but doesn't cover up much with it at night because he tends to sleep hot.I saw one review that said they were not happy with it because they thought it was not thick enough.Trust me, if it was any thicker, your kid would be overheating...it's very warm.Overall, very pleased with my purchase!

This coverlet looks about exactly as you'd expect it to given the picture. And for the listed price, it's a great value.

But - if you're buying it because you want it to be on the "reverse" (aqua, in my case) side, look elsewhere. The stitching on the brown side isn't noticeable since it's brown thread against brown fabric. But on the light side, it's brown thread on the lighter fabric, and the quality of the stitching is noticeably bad: and I'm not even the type of person who would normally be too picky about that kind of thing.

Also, what you can't see in the picture is that the reverse side of the shams isn't suitable to be shown; it's just a pillowcase-thick layer of fabric. So, you're kind of stuck with brown shams if you keep the ones included.

These sheets are very soft. I ordered these sheets back in August and the expected delivery date was at the latest October 14, 2009 which they never made it but I am sure it got lost in the mail.I contacted the seller on the 15th to inform him they never made it. He was very nice and helpful he reshipped my items no questions asked they to took a little while to make it but I also had them delivered to an APO address so sometimes it just takes a little longer than usual. The sheets are lighter than they look in the picture still a nice color it goes well with my duvet other than that its exactly as described. Thank you so much for the sheets and being so kind and helpful making sure they made it to me.

I bought this set for my daughter's new bedroom. It really feels cozy and comfortable once you figure out how to put the comforter inside the duvet. It should have more ties inside the duvet to hold the comforter in place better. Also, this set doesn't come with a flat sheet or bedskirt. I spent a little more money for bedding,(bedskirt and flat sheet),than I wanted because I thought the duvet would cover the bed to the floor like in the picture. The good thing about it is you can take the comforter out and just use the duvet in the warmer months.

Egyptian Bedding 800 Thread-Count, King Pillow Cases, Chocolate Stripe, Set of 2 Review

These sheets are very soft. I ordered these sheets back in August and the expected delivery date was at the latest October 14, 2009 which they never made it but I am sure it got lost in the mail. I contacted the seller on the 15th to inform him they never made it. He was very nice and helpful he reshipped my items no questions asked they to took a little while to make it but I also had them delivered to an APO address so sometimes it just takes a little longer than usual. The sheets are lighter than they look in the picture still a nice color it goes well with my duvet other than that its exactly as described. Thank you so much for the sheets and being so kind and helpful making sure they made it to me.

It is my own fault for not reading the description more clearly, but I could not believe that this set does not come with a flat sheet?? I have never seen a bed in a bag that is just a fitted sheet and a duvet cover. I would rather have a flat sheet and maybe even a bedskirt or a valance rather than the 2 pillows that they send you. Also the actual colors werent as bright/vibrant as pictured, more muted. Sending it back. :-(

I fell in love with this set from the moment I saw it.I knew the colors and design would be perfect for my guest room.It arrived in a timely manner, it was well-packaged, and the colors and design were exactly as shown on Amazon.However, like all "love-at-first-sight" relationships, reality set in pretty quickly. The set is not permanent press! There is a cute instruction sheet that tells you how to press it, or, alternatively, to give it to your mother!I am the mother, darn it!Still, I made the effort, and I must say it looks spectacular.I'm glad it's on a guest bed, so I don't have to iron it that often.Just one other remark: this set doesn't come with enough "stuff". There is a fitted sheet, but no top sheet which I found a little odd. There is also no bed skirt, and only two pillow shams, no cases. I would have liked the option of getting the extra "stuff" including some throw pillows.

This is the warmest duvet I have ever slept under. It is perfect for a Midwest winter. When I took it out of the box I was initially disappointed. I had expected it to be very thick, with a massive "loft" and a luxurious look. I shook it and it stayed relatively flat. It felt thin and too light. They sent me the wrong color, i ordered taupe and they sent me the black and white which was not the look i was going for, otherwise it's good quality very soft!

I purchased this bedding set and the black set to mix and match.I have never had a down comforter and thought a down alternative,like the duvet in these sets, might be better.It isn't bad, but it isn't great, either.Since receiving these I bought a real down comforter on sale at a department store and the difference is amazing!Of course, so is the difference in price - even on sale - so I know to be fair I can't compare the two apples to apples.I just wanted to let folks who buy this set know that there are two issues about which they might like to be aware. First, the sheets, pillow cases, and shams become very weirdly wrinkled after they are washed and dried. It tends to smooth out, but the sheen you see in the photo is lost forever.Second, when I took the cover off of the duvet to wash it, the inside of the cover was filled with little white "pills" of fabric lint from the duvet, itself.It was quite a mess and took me a very long time to remove them. However, the bedding IS comfortable, so just be aware that the shiny new look doesn't stay new.
