Home Flocked Comforter Set - Purple Review

I have been trying to find this comforter for so many months now. At one point I was willing to buy it used or on ebay for about $500. Well good thing I didn't. It was just my luck that I was outbid last night on an ebay auction for it and I started searching elsewhere. I couldn't believe my eyes when I found out it was back in stock at Amazon. I thought I would have to wait a while and pre-order it first but today I got the email that it is going to be shipped out tomorrow. It's not back on the target website yet but if you have been wanting this bed set for a while get it asap before it sells out everywhere all over again. I'm super excited to pay a normal price for it and to be getting it soon!!!!

Simply Shabby Chic® Hydrangea Rose Duvet Set Review

I bought this duvet set from Target over a year ago and I am still as in love with it as the day that I got it. I have washed it a million times and the colors are still as vivid as they were when I took it out of the box. The shams are nice too. I also ordered the Mon Ami pillowcases to go with this and they look fantastic with it. The fabric is great quality and the blue is a beautiful mix between aqua and powder blue. It really does look much prettier in person than in photos. I have the King size version and will not be trading it in any time soon! I love Shabby Chic and wish that they had added more to the Simply Shabby line!! Out of all of the Simply duvet sets I think that this one is the best! I also saw it on an episode of House Hunters on HGTV in a ladies home!!!

Tommy Hilfiger All American Denim Duvet Cover Review

Received the two twin duvet covers I ordered in a timely manner. Was a little disappointed that it is only denim on ONE side, not two. The second side has a thin, navy, sheet-like material on it. A little worried about how it will hold up. Had ordered the Ralph Lauren ones off their site and liked them better but one had stains on it and they couldn't locate a replacement anywhere or tell me if they were going to get any more. Had to return those.
There is no "Ithaca stripe pattern." It's denim on one side and that thin navy material (like a thin sheet) on the reverse side.

I just bought the exact same thing on eBay for $95. The eBay seller was "homedeals84" Tsk Tsk Amazon... Will update this when I receive the item.

So this product arrived yesterday. My wife was thoroughly disappointed, since its really thin. It is not fat and fluffy as you'd imagine given the boastful claims of the advertisment. Is it warm? Yes it is. Is there such a thing as a "Siberian goose"? Yes. Are there Siberian goosefeathers are in this comforter? NO. Read this article. [...]
I'm inclined to believe it. This comforter is probably made in a sweatshop in China somewhere and I wonder what the fill is actually made of.
Does it do a decent job of keeping you warm for the price you've paid? Yes. Am I gonna return it? No. Too much hassle and shipment cost for a $100 comforter. Would I buy it again knowing what I know now? NO!!
Lesson learned about buying bedding online.
Someone else has also mentioned in a review for the same product but for a different size that its available on eBay for cheaper.
Knocking it down to 3 stars for all the lies and misleading marketing.

This duvet is gorgeous! The picture makes it look really busy, but in actuality it doesn't look quite that busy. The fabric is pretty soft, too, so no sleeping with a scratchy cover. I've been looking for a linens set with an asian pattern but most of what I found looked on the cheap side and almost cartoonish. This pattern's beautiful and would fit in great with asian decor.

I got this for allergy control, but I found it also helps to keep my feathers from flying out.This is the cheapest price for this item I've seen, and I had done quite a bit of research.The Pristine products are high quality, and appears to be durable.It is a finely woven fabric without a plastic membrane, so it is comfortable as well.It is a bit slippery in feel, and makes the comforter move around alot.I fixed it by attaching ties to the inside corners of the cover, and to the corners of the comforter.Tie them together at the respective corners, and the comforter stays in place.

We just got our duvet and are enjoying the softness of the micro-fiber. We have two young boys and they are putting it through the wringer with alot of jumping, wrestling and snuggling. We all agree that it feels great.
The other day I noticed a small blood stain on my brand new duvet. Probabaly from one of my boys. Anyway, I used a little bath soap and water to dab at it, and to my surprise the stain disappeared immediately. The color remains fine as well. I have not fully laundered the duvet yet, but based on the ease with which I was able to remove the stain, I am very pleased with the fabric. I am reserving a star until I see how it handles a full laundering.
The shams are king sized, which I like as my last duvet came with standard size shams and I have a king size bed, and the cushions are a nice finishing touch.
I am very happy with my purchase.

We bought this set for our youngest daughter.It is the fifth Blancho Bedding set we have purchased, and I like them for several reasons:the fabric is soft and comfortable, yet sturdy; the zipper closure on the duvet cover prevents the duvet from falling out, and is quicker and easier than snaps or buttons; and there are so many different patterns from which to choose.

In case you are curious (as I was -- I couldn't tell from the photo) the hearts say "special" and the pale yellow squares spell out "happy", except one of the p's is formed by a leaf so you may at first think is says "hapy". :)

I recently purchased an expensive down comforter and wanted to make sure to protect it with a duvet cover. I also wanted a duvet cover that would feel nice and soft, give my room a clean and modern feel, and most importantly, not break the bank.

I would highly recommend this duvet and pillowcase cover set, especially for the price. The feel of the duvet cover is very soft and the colors look great. Neutral, clean lines, color looks just the way I thought it would from the pictures.

The only note I would make is that the duvet cover, after I washed it, is not as thin and crisp looking as it is in the picture. It's actually much softer and thicker than it looks, which is not a bad thing at all (unless you're looking for a more thin-sheet look and feel). I'm sure if I ironed it, it would look crisper, but I'm pretty happy with this.

As an online shopper I rely heavily on the detailed information found under the "product features" section.Almost EVERYTHING was wrong with my order!

It said, "Set includes one full/queen comforter, 1 queen flat sheet, 1 queen fitted sheet, 2 standard pillowcases, 2 standard shams * Duvet 88 by 92 inches * Shams have zippered closure * Brushed during finishing process for extra softness * 100-Percent cotton"

I did NOT receive one full/queen comforter, 1 queen flat sheet, 1 queen fitted sheet, 2 standard pillowcases.

I DID receive the duvet cover, 2 shams with zippered closures and a mostly matching dust ruffle which was nice since the dust ruffle wasn't mentioned at all.

I like what I DID receive, the fabric is pretty and not visible in the online image there's a lovely eyelet detail throughout the entire duvet cover.I would think that the dust ruffle would match the reverse side of the duvet and shams, but the pattern is different entirely.

Someone should edit the "Product Features" section a little more, LOT MORE closely!

When the set arrived, i was pleasantly surprised.it looks nice and fits our oversized down comforter perfectly....now if i can just figure out how to keep the darn comforter in place, i'd be happy, but that is not because of the duvet.The set matches very nicely with our furniture and is super comfy too.I have matched it with gold sheets and then chocolate....Not the cafe color that was recommended, it's too orangey for the camel shade of tan.I was super happy with this set for the price, i couldn't pass it up.. DwellStudio Draper Stripe Duvet Set Review

This is my third Dwell Studio purchase.This duvet set just arrived and it is gorgeous.The "ash" color is more of a coffee, and the saffron trim is darker than you would guess from the photos.

Unfortunately, Dwell does not feel it is necessary to supply Amazon with adequate photos of their products.The saffron trim, by the way, is NOT toward the foot of the bed as the pictures show.The trim is on the perimeter of the duvet.

I am also knocking a star of my review as the pillow cases are enormous. The cases are hanging off my pillows - at least 20 inches on either side! It looks terrible.As I mentioned, this is my third king duvet set from Dwell and all the sets had x-tra large pillow cases.

No one has pillows this big Dwell Studios!Please stop making these absurd sizes. The duvet is great, but I really don't feel like spending another $50 for normal sized shams.

I received my duvet cover this afternoon and I couldn't be happier! The hues of the duvet were much bolder than expected. My only complaint is that the picture depicts the larger pillows(in back) being striped and the smaller(in front) being reversible, but in my case it was just the opposite. Also, the daisy pillows were more of a burnt orange than they were red, which in my case was perfect, but for those expecting and desiring the bold red, you may need to reconsider.

Also, the "gift bag" that comes included is literally a plastic tote bag with handles in which you could place your duvet set, so don't be expecting some gift-with-purchase deal.

Overall I love my duvet set and couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.

Attractive in the picture.This item arrived with no packing slip in a box in a damaged zipper case.The fabric is very cheap and unattractive.Even though there is adequate space in the case for the two throw pillows they arrived flat and the fabric is of the same quality as the other items.All the pieces of this set are poorly constructed.It wrinkles right out of the package and I do not believe washing it would be a good idea as I do not believe it would survive the wash cycle.There are no Euro shams, and the regular shams are poorly sewn and the back closure isn't really sown but "flapped" instead.This was a very unfortunate purchase.I have contacted the seller and haven't received a response.
